After serving as Assistant State Attorney in Pasco and Pinellas County for over eleven years, I established a practice devoted to criminal defense. I have defended thousands of individuals charged with crime including those charged with First Degree Murder, DUI Manslaughter, Capital Sexual Battery as well as many individuals charged with less serious offenses such as DUI and Domestic Battery. I have done criminal defense work for over nine years and primarily focus in Pasco and Pinellas Counties. I have had over 200 jury trials as well as over 200 non-jury trials.
I became Board Certified in Criminal Trial Law in 1992. Less than 1% of attorneys in Florida have such certification. I am a former adjunct professor at St. Petersburg Community College and Pasco Hernando Community College where I taught criminal law and procedure as well as Constitutional Law.
